This results in students being in school for 33 hours and 5 minutes each week. Students spend 25 hours in lessons, 2 hours in canon and have a total of 4 hours and 35 minutes of either break or lunchtime. They also all have 1 ½ hours in electives each week on Wednesdays.

The following equipment is required and must be brought into school each day in a clear plastic pencil case which is big enough to fit all the items listed below:
- Pen
- Pencil
- Green Pen
- Ruler – 30cm
- Rubber and Sharpener
- Calculator
- Mini Whiteboard
- Dry Wipe pen
- Green pen for marking
- Knowledge Organiser
- KO exercise book
- A drinks bottle is a highly recommended item of equipment.
