Results Day Summer 2017
GCSE results will be published and available for collection on Thursday 24th August 2017
You will be able to collect your results from 10am – 12noon.
You will not be able to come into school before 10am and you will need to sign for your results. If you would like someone else to collect your results (including your parents) that person will need signed permission from you to collect your results. This can either be brought in on results day or you can give this to our Exams Officer Kirsty Duke before the end of the summer term, there is a form available to use for this in the GCSE handbook.
Any year 11 results not collected by 12 noon will be posted to your home address. If you change your address after leaving school in June, please inform us of your new address. All other year groups’ results will be held securely until students return to school in September when they can be collected from the exams Office. It is not possible to collect results later on the 24th or on a different day.
College/careers staff and teaching staff will be present on the day if you need advice after receiving your results.
Certificates are issued if you achieve grade A*-G or 1-9 at GCSE and Pass to Distinction*at BTEC. These arrive in school about 3 months after you have received your results and will be available at a presentation Evening in November/December date TBC. The date for this is in the GCSE handbook; however we will write to you shortly beforehand to invite you and your parents/carers to the evening.
You MUST keep your certificates in a safe place – A charge of approximately £45 is made by Exam Boards to replace each certificate – In most circumstances they cannot be replaced.
