Remote learning
In the rare event that a student is absent for a longer period of time, Google Classroom is used to share our shadow curriculum. This enables students to access the Oak National Academy resources for the topics that are being delivered by expert teachers in the classroom. Students can use the remote topics to access lessons as a way of revising previous lesson content or to pre-learn some content so they have greater confidence returning to the classroom. These remote lessons are shared via our Google Classrooms for each year group. Equally, students can contact their class teacher by email to ascertain which remote lesson would be most appropriate for them to follow.
